This blog is created with a view to inform fellow professionals about the activities to be undertaken by me as a Commonwealth Professional Fellow at the Library and Learning Services of University of East London, London, United Kingdom.

I express my deep sense of gratitude to my supervisor Ms. Gurdish Sandhu, Associate Director, Library and Learning Services, University of East London, United Kingdom for nominating me to the fellowship and hosting me and guiding me while preparing a competent proposal for the fellowship.

I would like to propound my heartful thanks to Commonwealth Scholarship Commission, Association of Commonwealth Universities, and British Council for giving me this wonderful opportunity.

I express my sincere thanks to Ms. Huma Akhtar, Programme Officer, The Association of Commonwealth Universities, London, United Kingdom who took the pain of completing all the formalities of documentation of CSC within a short period of time which helped me to apply for Visa at the quickest time.

I am thankful to Prof. Alan Hopkinson from Middlesex University, The Sheppard Library, The Burroughs, London, UK for encouraging me and helping me in the preparation of the application.

I acknowledge my sincere thanks to all my LIS teachers and Senior Librarians, whose encouragement, guidance and support helped me to reach this level.  My thanks are due to many LIS professionals and Friends who helped me at various stages of the application.

This fellowship would not have been possible without the constant support and encouragement from Prof. Muttayya Koganuramath, University Librarian and my team members at TISS Library.

I acknowledge my sincere thanks to the following organizations/institutions which enabled me to take this fellowship.
